We collaborated with NIRAS IP Consult to execute video production services for a documentary and short promotional videos aimed at raising awareness of the successful completion of the German Refugee Response Fund (GRFF). This 10 million Euro grant-funded, locally-led 5-year program, implemented by Oxfam and Save the Children International through the Office of the Prime Minister and funded by the KFW Development Bank, sought to make a positive impact on affected refugees and local host communities.
Having concluded the monumental 5-year project, NIRAS sought a competent creative agency to document the transformative work accomplished by implementing partners and stakeholders in refugee camps. The task involved travelling to northern Uganda and within Kampala to capture interviews, document facilities, and record the stories of refugees, host community members, and facilitating agencies.
QDIC produced a compelling documentary that showcased collaboration and real positive change. Highlighting the challenges faced by refugees, such as inadequate sanitation, limited access to clean water, and insufficient educational facilities, the documentary illustrated how the GRFF addressed these issues, implementing long-lasting solutions to improve lives.
