BABOLAT

QDIC,worked with tennis specialists Babolat to produce a documentary video showcasing the inspiring story of “Kids Closer To Sports” – a group of disadvantaged children and youth who find solace and joy in playing tennis on a makeshift court in Kyegegwa district. Led by their dedicated coach, Ben, these children embody resilience and passion for the sport despite facing significant challenges.

For Babolat, entering the Ugandan market and accurately portraying Ben’s story while ensuring the safe delivery of donated sports equipment presented a formidable challenge. It was essential to find a production company that could capture the essence of the narrative while also managing the logistics of equipment delivery effectively.

QDIC took charge of not only securely shipping and delivering the sports equipment to Ben and the children but also produced a heartfelt documentary that authentically conveyed Ben’s journey. By focusing on Babolat’s core value of perseverance, the documentary captured the determination and spirit of the young players, illustrating the transformative power of tennis.

The documentary serves as a powerful tool to raise awareness about the struggles faced by underprivileged communities in Uganda and the positive impact of sports, such as tennis, in empowering individuals. It inspires viewers to take action or offer support to similar initiatives aimed at providing opportunities through sports. Additionally, the provision of tennis supplies directly contributes to the skill development of aspiring players, offering them better training resources and potential pathways to success in tennis.

Through our collaboration with Babolat, QDIC continues to support initiatives that make a meaningful difference in communities, highlighting stories of resilience and hope while fostering positive change through sports.
